Growing in a MASSIVE fairy ring in someone’s front yard. Just after heavy rain. Under a tree but mostly in the grass. I wear a size 10 shoe, so you can see just how large they are. Some dead ones nearby with dark brown gills. Isn’t really staining, I scratched the top and cut the bottom, and after 5 mins am still not seeing any real staining.
